Barbara Kruger Designs Subway Map (For London)

Barbara Kruger London tube map
So apparently Transport for London, which administers the British capital's subway system, or "tube," hires a different contemporary artist each month to design an original alternate map for the front of the free system map, and this month's artist is boldface-subversive-agit-prop creator Barbara Kruger. Her moral map, pictured in detail at right and in full here, turns the subway network into an emotive lattice work—notice the short distance between power and envy. Wouldn't it be nice if the MTA had a similar program for the millions of subway maps station attendants hand out every year? (CreativeReview)
