Art Shepard Fairey's Bowery Mural Gets... Bed Bugged?

Back on Friday, a street art prankster with a lot of time, bed bug-ridden furniture and a van on his hands, Samuel Mark, took the popular activity of defacing Shepard Fairey's mural at Bowery and Houston to the next level (pictured). If you're madly paranoid about bed bugs, you can always check out a completely unblemished version of the mural at Deitch Projects, where his exhibition May Day (and the gallery) closes for good on Saturday.
