Check out this trailer for Vicente Rodriguez Ortega's new documentary, Freddy's, about Freddy's Bar & Backroom, until recently the last remaining business in the Atlantic Yards footprint and possibly soon to be the latest addition to the emerging 4th Avenue bar strip. Freddy's premieres this week as part of the Brooklyn International Film Festival, with a screening in Brooklyn Heights on Wednesday and another at indieScreen in Williamsburg on Friday. Make sure you have a beer handy; you'll need it.
