Music The New Superchunk Record Has Its Own Trailer

God, it feels good for there to be Superchunk-related news in 2010, doesn't it? Majesty Shredding, their first new album since 2001's Here's to Shutting Up, is set for release on September 14th, which is certainly exciting enough in its own right. Even more exciting, though, is that they're also set to stop by—where else?—the Late Night With Jimmy Fallon for their first televised performance in, holy shit, 16 years. Also pretty exciting? They're playing Bowery on the 18th and Music Hall on the 19th, which basically makes it Superchunk week in New York, which is basically a dream come true for me.
