Hello, all. The local indie flick
Wah Do Dem, shot in Williamsburg and Jamaica and on a boat, stars the singer-songwriter
Sean Bones—who is playing at
Northside at the end of the month—as a soccer-playing hipster who takes a cruise to Jamaica. He's on the soundtrack alongside MGMT and Yeasayer (members of which bands have cameos in the film), and some classic contemporary reggae artists. The film plays at
BAMcinemaFEST on Tuesday, and we've got two pairs of tickets to the screening: email us at WahDoDem@thelmagazine.com
WahDoDem@thelmagazine.com to enter to win, and check out some of the music either way—at Northside, or this Sunday afternoon, when BAM takes over the streets of Fort Greene and hosts a free reggae
concert in conjunction with the film.
