Luke Jerram's "Play Me, I'm Yours"
project, in which 60 pianos will be placed al fresco on public streets throughout the five boroughs,
doesn't begin until Monday. But today, a ROGUE PIANO was spotted on the corner of
Jay Plymouth Street and Anchorage Place in DUMBO (
map), waiting to be played by a brave ivory-tickler.
Way to go, New York! You don't need the Metropolitan Opera to bring music to a park near you! Hell, you don't even need to wait for some artist to bring you a piano! Fuck the music industry! Fuck everyone! It's a summer piano revolution!
