Watch Police Academy's Michael Winslow Perform the History of Typewriters

Posted by on Thu, Jun 17, 2010 at 11:58 AM

Well, this is kind of amazing: here's Police Academy's uncanny sound effects man Michael Winslow performing a 21-minute aural history of the typewriter, from the Barlock Mod.4 of 1895 up to 1983's Olympia Monika Deluxe. I think my favorite is the IBM Executive Mod.42 around the 16:15 mark, but really the whole thing is very, um, educational? (DangerousMinds)
