Watch the World Cup for Free... on Twitter?

World Cup on Twitter

The Guardian has developed an amazing web app that makes dynamic data charts out of the ebb and flow of World Cup-related topics trending on Twitter. What does that mean? Well, I'll let them explain the details, but basically you can watch each game in real time, or as a replay, while a cloud of Twitter topics bubbles, shrinks and boils as goals are scored, fouls are called, and vuvuzelas are played. Use it to watch games while following the vuvuzela Twitter, and it's almost just like being there at the stadium in South Africa. (Urlesque)
