Books Meet W.S. Merwin, Your Next Poet Laureate

W.S. Merwin, 82, whom you may recall from various anthologies encountered in workshops in high school and college, and who lives on top of a dormant volcano in Maui where he cultivates endangered plants, will be named as our next Poet Laureate, replacing the great Kay Ryan.
