Prince: "The Internet is Completely Over"

Posted By on Tue, Jul 6, 2010 at 11:45 AM

You ready for the dumbest shit you'll read all day today? Yeah? Ok, here goes:

“The internet’s completely over. I don’t see why I should give my new music to iTunes or anyone else. They won’t pay me an advance for it and then they get angry when they can’t get it.

“The internet’s like MTV. At one time MTV was hip and suddenly it became outdated. Anyway, all these computers and digital gadgets are no good.

“They just fill your head with numbers and that can’t be good for you.”

So says 52-year-old pop-star Prince, whose new album, 20Ten, is set for release in a few weeks and will not be available on iTunes. He showed us, I guess. (Also, numbers? The internet fills our head with numbers?) [Daily Mirror via Daily Swarm]
