News Williamsburg's Local Radioactive Waste Storage Facility May Have to Move

The Brooklyn Eagle notes that most of the waste handled by Radiac is of a very low radioactive level (radiation cancer treatment materials, for instance). But all radioactive materials are equal in the eye of the law, and soon Williamsburg residents will have to look a little further for storage facilities for their home-grown plutonium. I hear there's a place in Nevada that'll take it. (Brownstoner)
