New Calexico Cart at Brooklyn Bridge Park Brings City's Best Mexican to Dumbo

Calexico cart in Dumbo
If you, like us, have spent many lunchtimes in Dumbo, you'll know that food options, especially affordable and non-mediocre ones, are very scarce. But now Dumbo lunches are worth eating, because since Saturday Calexico, purveyor of New York City's best Mexican food at spots in Soho and Red Hook, has had its newest cart serving perfectly cured carne asada and other delicious crack sauce-slathered goodies at Brooklyn Bridge Park's Pier 1 (pictured). According to @CalexicoCart the new cart will be there 7 days a week, making this officially the best Dumbo food news since Grimaldi's started serving pizza in 1905. (BrooklynHeightsBlog)
