Sure, the increased aesthetic appeal and ticket-buyer functionality of the new anthologyfilmarchives.org, live today, marks a welcome upgrade for New York's home for underground film. But there's more, so much more: it's called Anthology Film Archives for a reason, and the Collections section is fascinating. Anthology houses an epic collection of seminal avant-garde and experimental film, and materials pertaining to it; their new website will soon feature a Library section, publishing materials for easy remote consumption—and for now, they've put up a selection of film and audio clips from their archive—including vintage New York street photography—a stills collection, a print catalog and research guidelines. Go forth and geek out.
