News Depressing Infographic Explains What Might Happen to Sea Life in the Gulf

As Brooklyn reels from the effects of its own little oil spill last weekend (dead starfish and smelly waterfront, mostly), we can only imagine what a toll the Deepwater Horizon leak has, is and will continue to take on marine life in the Gulf of Mexico, and according to this interactive infographic from the Natural Resources Defense Council, scientists aren't too sure either. But they aren't very optimistic: gills may get coated with oil, breeding grounds will be slick with the stuff, toxic fumes will be inhaled, endangered species will be pushed past the brink, BP exec will resign before October.
