Nicki Minaj's "Your Love" and the Top 5 Martial Arts Rap Videos

Posted by Benjamin Sutton on Wed, Jul 21, 2010 at 12:41 PM

Ever since the Wu-Tang Clan entered the 36 Chambers, hip-hop's kept a close relationship to martial arts, with kung fu movie samples and references appearing in lyrics and music videos constantly, including the just-released video for Nicki Minaj's Annie Lennox-sampling lead single "Your Love." The clip's visually lush martial arts class and samurai showdown earn Nicki a spot among these five great martial arts rap videos.

RZA, "Tragedy" (pretty much what you'd expect from the guy who scored Kill Bill):

Jay-Z, "On to the Next One" (high-flying ninja action begins at 3:00):

Limp Bizkit and Method Man, "N 2 Gether Now" (I know, I know, Limp Bizkit, ugh, but it's still a great beat):

Vanilla Ice, "Ninja Rap" (again, very sorry):
