If everything about that previous paragraph did not make you almost double over with nostalgia, then you were definitely not in 7th grade at the time, and definitely did not hear about all of it pretty much every single school day for months upon months. At the time I found it all infuriating (in ways that were, in retrospect, pretty complicated, and may or may not have had to do with the fact that I never saw it on a date), but now I just miss all of it terribly, and when it screens at Summerscreen tonight I may very well sob unprettily like Claire Danes when it's all over. So, come to McCarren Park tonight, N 12th and Bedford, to play a park in my own private psychodrama! There'll be Sixpoint beer, food from Asia Dog, Pizza Moto, Red Hook Lobster Pound, San Loco, Crop to Cup Coffee and more, and Hank & Cupcakes and Noun play at 6:15 and 7:15 respectively. We couldn't get the Cardigans.
