Turns out that whole waterfowl mass-murder curffufle in Prospect Park wasn't the work of the State government, but rather the result of a radical program to prevent soil erosion by releasing saber-toothed tigers and velociraptors into selected parts of the park. Gothamist reports that the prehistoric prank placards gave park officials a chuckle, although their laughter failed to bring any murdered geese back to life. (Gothamist)
