SummerScreen Band Spotlight: Red Romans

Posted by on Wed, Aug 11, 2010 at 4:51 PM

Tonight, before the Swayze, before the Zuma, and before we all talk about how 90s-hot Lori Petty is, come enjoy the live music curated by Free Williamsburg. Opening for Total Slacker tonight is Red Romans, a side project from Chris Burke from Beach Fossils. The band is so new that they only have 318 friends on Myspace and their album, which is "hand-sewn, self released, CD-R" is already "out of print." That's how new they are. That's how Brooklyn they are. So check em out tonight at 6:30 at the McCarren Park Ballfields on N 12th and Bedford. And don't forget to stay for Katryn Bigelow's Point Break you filthy animal. See you there!
