Art Buy an Original Banksy Mural on eBay

In Detroit they steal Banksy murals, wall and all, and one of the mysterious street art star's Motor City murals has hit the auction block. Forgoing popular art auction venues like Christie's or Phillips de Pury, the artist's stencil of a canary on the wall of a partially demolished building (pictured) has shown up on eBay, still awaiting an opening bid of $75,000. If only the Brit's murals were this coveted in his home country, maybe they wouldn't all get "accidentally" painted over. The auction ends on August 16, so get your Banksy bid in soon! (ArtInfo)
