Two 111-Year-Old Women "Discovered" in Brooklyn, Likely Cranky

You think you've got Brooklyn cred because you moved to Bushwick in 2005? Think again.

Two 111-year-old Brooklyn women were recently "discovered" alive and well after concerns over fraudulent benefits (generated by recent revelations in Japan over scores of fake centegenarians), inspired local authorities to do a little digging. This is what they (along with the Times reporter) found: Evelyn Kozak lives in Kensington and like her eggs hardboiled with the lights off; Susie Mushatt Jones, who lives near Starrett City, loves children, "especially males."

Everything you just read is true.
