Music Oh Christ: Taylor Momsen Covers The xx and Rihanna

In an interview with Spin Magazine, Gossip Girl actress and Pretty Reckless singer Taylor Momsen said some shit about Rihanna, complaining about the R&B/pop singer's recent penchant for leather jackets stealing the thunder from real rock musicians like herself. She says the quote was used out of context, though, and to prove it, she performed an acoustic cover of Rihanna's part on Eminem's "Love the Way You Lie." But not before doing a snippet of "Islands" by The xx. I don't know. It doesn't matter. This is one of the most awesomely affected vocal performances you will hear ever. And I just realized I'm a full season behind on Gossip Girl. [Idolator]
