Should You Spend $33 to See Spoon to Play Music Hall of Williamsburg?

If $33 seems like an awful lot to see Spoon play at the Music Hall of Williamsburg, well, that's because $33 is an awful lot to see Spoon play at the Music Hall of Williamsburg. But alas, that's what it'll set you back should be among the lucky few who score tickets (on sale Saturday) to the band's just announced 9/13 show celebrating the venue's 3rd anniversary.

You could choose instead to go see them for free the day before at the Union County Music Fest in New Jersey, but in order to do that, you'd have to go to New Jersey. The choice is yours, but keep in mind they're coming off the worst record of their career, and also that the $33 is before service fees, so you're talking about probably $40 to see Britt Daniel stand there acting all cool. Granted, he is actually really cool, and granted, he'll be on a much smaller stage than we've grown accustomed to seeing him on, which is always nice. Good luck with your decision, everyone.
