Look, you make a little money, you try out some new impressionistic editing styles and have fun playing around with different film stocks, you maybe meet some new people. (The star is the 25-year-old French actor Gaspard Ulliel, from Brotherhood of the Wolf, A Very Long Engagement and such.) As with Kenneth Anger's Missoni ad , we note how commercialized notions of glamour are tied up in sophisticated art-film technique.
