News It's Official: That Was the Hottest Summer Ever in NYC

Oh god, it's hot. So hot. Too hot. I know Labor Day is late this year, but c'mon, fuck. It's hot. But hey, at least we earned something this year, ain't no second place bullshit for us: that's right, my friends, we've all just lived through THE HOTTEST NEW YORK SUMMER EVER. Take a bow everyone, you've earned it, by a whole half-degree. The previous record, set in 1966 (which, holy shit, killed over a thousand people), was 77.3, compared to our momentous 77.8 (woot).

So yes, it was hot enough for me, thanks.
