SMSlingshot for Digital Mischief-Makers and Virtual Vandals

Posted by Benjamin Sutton on Wed, Sep 1, 2010 at 3:52 PM

Berlin- and Glasgow-based design collective VR/URBAN has created the SMSlingshot ("SMS" is what Europeans call text messages, fyi), a cell phone-mounted slingshot that sends digital paintballs at its target. It's like that digital projection graffiti pen by the Graffiti Research Lab, except with a more suburban vandal, Bart Simpson-Dennis the Menace flavor. They need to team up with the Space Invader mural guys and make the best interactive projection of all time. In the meantime, we're going to spray Dumbo with digital laser-guided paintballs.
