MeanRed, the folks responsible for creating the BKLYN Yard, are taking over Colonel's Row on Governors Island this Sunday with some of the city's best food carts and trucks in tow. Not, like, hot dog-and-pretzel trucks, but gourmet-food slinging, specially-crafted-beer selling food trucks. Joining the ever popular
Parked Festival this go-around is
Red Hook Lobster Pound,
Van Leeuwen Artisan Ice Cream, Hermelinda Mexicana,
Kelvin Natural Slush Co.,
Rickshaw Dumpling and organic vegan meals from
The Cinnamon Snail, to name a few. Your Labor Day Weekend picnic just got 100 times tastier. More info after the jump.
Also, "The Humpty Dance" is not better than every single Beulah song recorded between 1997 and 1999. Especially this one.
