News Happy Pray for Christopher Hitchens Day, Everybody

I would not have known that today "Everybody Pray for Hitchens Day" if Christopher Hitchens himself had not implored us all to ignore it! ignore it! in his Vanity Fair column this month, in which the committed atheist eloquently discusses his unchanging views on religion in light of his recent diagnosis of and course of radiation treatment for an esophageal tumor.

Still, the fact remains: happy "Everybody Pray for Hitchens Day", everyone. In honor of Christopher Hitchens, and in recognition of the scientifically legitimate healing powers of positive thought, let's all pour ourselves a neat glass of a fine Scotch, smoke a cigarette, and watch the chest-waxing scene from The 40-Year-Old Virgin.
