Film Film Society of Lincoln Center Taps indieWIRE's Eugene Hernandez to Lead Them Into the Brave New World of the Internet

Per the FSLC's press release, this means, that "[m]ost immediately, Hernandez will work with current staff to hone the organization's website and digital messaging for Film Society programs. Additionally, Eugene will work to identify and secure digital partnerships for Film Comment and help develop a Film Society digital channel."
The FSLC is trying to engage in a more meaningful way with the city's younger moviegoers, as you may have noticed; Eugene's personal relationships and proven web acumen ought, certainly, to result in an FSLC that feels more present on the web (so producing videos? arranging streams and downloads? a more interactive filmlinc.com?), and, I'd surmise, in more active partnerships between the FSLC and other filmmaking and media groups.
