Music Speaking of Your Neighborhood, Williamsburg Takes a Beating at Matador 21

WFMU's Tom Scharpling was trying to introduce the New Pornographers this weekend during the Matador 21 fest when Superchunk drummer/WFMU funny guy Jon Wurster interfered, pretending he was a jaded blogger from the "mean streets of Williamsburg," aka "the word's biggest college campus," aka a place full of "adults doing stuff meant for 10-year-olds." Laughter ensued.
He was in Vegas trying to get his band signed, you see. They're a "cross between Das Racist and that owl movie." Too bad they may never get a chance to play a Jelly Pool Party.
