Whoa, This Campaign to Break Up Weezer Just Got Weird Weirder

He goes on, explaining that he never actually intended the stunt to work (which is good, because it's not doing so hot, despite one dude donating $100?!). Death threats aside, the whole thing is kind of funny, especially considering that drummer Patrick Wilson got in on the bet via Twitter. (Though I'm worried Rivers might react like he did after Pinkerton got panned and never come out of his room. RIVERS, IF YOU'RE READING: EVERYTHING WILL BE OK.) At the end of the day though, only one thing matters: Weezer just added New York dates to their Blue Album/Pinkerton throwback tour. They'll be taking over Roseland Ballroom (ew) on 12/17 (Blue night) and 12/18 (Pink night). Tickets go on sale on 10/16. To mentally prepare you, here they are playing "Buddy Holly" and "Undone (the Sweater Song)" last night on Carson.
Aw, man, I don't want to add fuel to the campaign fire, but why is Rivers wreaking havoc onstage rather than acting nerdy and playing the guitar?
