Reminder: Basically No L Train This Weekend

From 12:01am on the morning of Saturday October 9, through 5am Monday October 11 there will be no L train service between Manhattan and Brooklyn. None. Our namesake subway will run normally between Rockaway Parkway and Myrtle-Wykcoff, from where anyone wanting to go further west will need to take a shuttle between Myrtle-Wykcoff and Lorimer, and then from Lorimer and Bedford another bus will take passengers down to the Marcy Avenue J train stop to get into the city. On the Manhattan side, you're stuck with the slower-than-crawling M14 cross-town. Better get your bike tuned up (the weather will be
