NYC Roach Map Confirms That Roaches Are Everywhere

Here's a slightly redundant mapping project, that is unless you're trying to justify a move from, say, Sunset Park to Park Slope, or the Lower East Side to the comparatively less roachy East Village: Roach Map uses data from the city's restaurant health inspections to generate an updated map of roach sightings in the city every week as that information is updated. Another surprise from today's updated map—visible in full after the jump—is that the Gowanus isn't the roach haven one might expect, possibly because all those chemicals act as insecticide.
