Let's Honor Veterans by Not Making Them Fight Anymore

Posted By on Thu, Nov 11, 2010 at 1:31 PM

In honor of Remembrance Day Veteran's Day, here's one of the greatest anti-war songs ever written, "And the Band Played Waltzing Matilda," by Eric Bogle (as performed by the Pogues).

After the jump, enjoy a young, handsome Mel Gibson in the first movie I can ever remember crying about (hysterical tears, for reals, and not about the bad synth soundtrack).
