New Art Tumblr Posts a Pertinent Artwork Every Day

A new artsy Tumblr launched this week, 3rd of May, posts one piece of art every day in response to that day's news. It's like a topical and really well-curated desk calendar (curated, incidentally, by ArtInfo's Tyler Green). The name references Goya's painting "The Third of May 1808." Yesterday the work was World AIDS Day-themed, though today's hasn't been posted yet. Perhaps something about freedom of expression in response to the growing controversy over Smithsonian Secretary G. Wayne Clough's decision to remove the David Wojnarowicz video "A Fire in My Belly" (1987, excerpt after the jump) from an exhibition in the National Portrait Gallery? Something by Shahram Entekhabi (work pictured), maybe, for instance?
