As a Canadian, it's taken me a while to get over the whole "self-promotion is tacky" thing. BUT I'M OVER IT, BABY. The smart and funny literary site Vol. 1 Brooklyn has seen fit to publish one of my short stories. (Yes, I write fiction.)
