Music Hear "Jesus Fever," a New Track from Kurt Vile's Forthcoming Album

While yes, it is snowing, and yes, it is fucking freezing, and, sorry, but yes, it will probably be like this for a while longer, this morning we get a welcome glimpse at what's in store for us this spring. Philadelphia-based songwriter Kurt Vile is set to release a new album, Smoke Ring for My Halo, on March 8th, and Gorilla vs. Bear posted a track from it last night. It's called "Jesus Fever" and it's an exceedingly pleasant, laid-back folksy number that has me even more excited for the full-length than I already was. Matador's got the album available on pre-order for a very reasonable $11. Consider taking a chance on it before it leaks. You know, for old time's sake.
