Pistol Whipping at the Grand Street Key Food

Last Friday, three crooks robbed the Key Food on Grand Street, at the intersection with Lorimer, making off with $800 in cash snatched from a register. Before they fled, the Brooklyn
Paper reports, they hit one witness' face with a gun. After they left, they fired a shot in the air from across the street.
The robbery occurred at a quarter to nine, just over an hour before close.
The supermarket's reviews on Yelp are generally positive; a recurrent description is "clean". One guy is pissed though that the checkout girls always break his potato chips. Living in Brooklyn is hard for different people in different ways, hardest arguably for the pistol whipped.
