The Louzon Group, a French hospitality concern, just paid $7.6 million for 347 Bowery (on the corner of East 3rd Street), a vacant building that was formerly a Salvation Army residence, sayeth Curbed. They're going to build a 65-room hotel there, designed and conceived by Gene Kaufman, the architect who also brought you Hotel Williamsburg. Like the nearby Cooper Square and Bowery hotels, this one will also feature an It restaurant, which will probably serve a $22 charred brisket wrap called "The Bowery Mission Burrito."
