By now perhaps you've seen this amazing video of an Australian canoer filming his/her journey through a flooded McDonald's in Brisbane, where floodwaters recently peaked, but did you know that it's actually an elaborate allusion to Danish artists' collective Superflex's 2008 project Flooded McDonald's? See for yourself after the jump.
It's almost like that time that car commercial turned out just like that Fischli & Weiss short film. (Gawker)
