Food & Drink Calexico Continues Brooklyn Takeover, Brings Delicious Mexican Cart to Carroll Park

Calexico, purveyors of the best Mexican food in the city at locations in the Columbia Waterfront District, Greenpoint, and carts in Soho and at Brooklyn Bridge Park, will be serving delicious carne asada burritos in Carroll Gardens soon: the city has just awarded the restaurant a five-year lease for a cart in Carroll Park.
Local blog Pardon Me For Asking asks the unpardonable: why the community wasn't consulted as to which food vendor should receive the five-year food cart lease, but as anyone who's ever eaten at Calexico (or who's ever become unreasonably frustrated by the terrible Mexican food situation in this city) knows, there is no better food cart for this or any other park.
