Music LCD Soundsystem Hits the Colbert Report, James Murphy Says He Wants to Quit Before "It Gets Embarrassing"

Well, here we go, I guess—LCD Soundsystem's farewell proceedings officially kicked off last night, with an appearance on The Colbert Report. For their last ever televised performance, they did a spot-on version of "I Can Change," which made me wonder how many reviews of the T5/MSG shows will prominently feature the writer riffing on the idea that, you know, we could change too if it would mean James and the gang would stick around. Anyway, an interview with Colbert, as well as some of their older TV appearances after the jump.
