Music Announcing the 2011 Northside Festival

Aside from the 100+ shows set to take place in nearly every venue in Williamsburg and Greenpoint, indie film screenings curated by some of the most on-point names in the business, and neighborhood art galleries opening their doors free to the public in conjunction with Greenpoint Open Studios, we have plenty of new things in the works too, including benefit shows for the Open Space Alliance at a new 5,000-capacity outdoor space at McCarren Park in the heart of Williamsbug, a DIY film competition, and panel discussions exploring the ways business innovators intersect with creative inventors. More on all that later, though. In the meantime, you’ll want to circle March 10 on your calendars and keep your eyes glued to northsidefestival.com, as we'll be announcing our first batch of bands and showcase presenters, and four-day (now all-ages) badges will go on sale then. In short, get excited.
