Today: Ditch Work a Little Early and Go See All Three Kurt Vile In-Stores

To celebrate the release of his brand new full-length,
Smoke Ring for My Halo, Kurt Vile is setting out on a day of promotion that one assumes will be far more effective than doing a couple interview with jerks like me. At 5pm, he'll set up shop for an acoustic performance at Academy LPs in Williamsburg (along with Thurston Moore's Northhampton Woods project). When he's done there, he'll pack up and head over to Thompson Street for a second in-store performance at Generation Records at 7pm. And then after
that, it's off to Other Music for his third and final show of the day, starting at 9pm. All shows are all-ages and free, except for the record(s) you will probably buy at one stop along the way.
