Watch Brooklyn Street Artist David Ellis's Pulse Prize-Winning Paint Can Percussion Installation

Posted by on Wed, Mar 9, 2011 at 3:14 PM

One of our favorite booths at Pulse last week belonged to Chelsea's Joshua Liner Gallery, which featured works by Brooklyn street artist David Ellis, including the piece that took the fair's Pulse Prize: "True Value (paint fukette)" (2011), a collaborative musical installation with composer Roberto Carlos Lange. If you didn't see it in action during the fair, the above video is a poor facsimile, but it'll have to do. (ArtInfo)
