Music Reminder: Get Your Ticket to See Beirut at McCarren Park During This Year's Northside Festival

We're even prouder, though, that on Friday, June 17, for the first of two big outdoor shows planned, Brooklyn's favorite and most worldly folk-influenced band, Beirut, will make their only scheduled New York appearance. Tickets to the show are currently on sale, and will cost you an almost unfathomably reasonable $25. We are literally incapable of coming up with a more pleasant sounding activity than standing in a huge, wide-open outdoor space with 5,000 of our closest friends, swaying and singing along to songs like "Nantes" from their brilliant Flying Club Cup album. Hopefully you'll be right there next to us.
