Watch The Hole, a 9-Minute Documentary About Brooklyn's Lost Neighborhood

Last fall, you'll recall, we interviewed the local filmmaker Courtney Fathom Sell, about the semi-mythical Brooklyn neighborhood known as The Hole—the rundown home of the Federation of Black Cowboys and the Mob's regular dumping ground for dead bodies (or so the story goes). His and Billy Feldman's short film portrait of the neighborhood, also called The Hole, won the "best documentary" award at The Red Hook International Film and Video Festival (which is a real thing), and is now online, as evidenced by the fact that you can watch it right here:
