Music Deer Tick to Perform as Nirvana Cover Band Deervana at the Northside Festival

During a show at last week's South by Southwest, Providence, Rhode Island-based Deer Tick performed a full set of Nirvana covers, billed, of course, as Deervana. It was a somewhat surprising move for a band more known for their alt-country tendencies, but even more surprising was just well they pulled it off. We're pleased to announce they'll be doing it again, at their June 19 Brooklyn Bowl show, which just so happens to be part of our very own Northside Festival. Tickets are already on sale, as are festival badges, which will also get you in, assuming you get there early because you know how these things work.
