The Pains of Being Pure at Heart Perform on Letterman, Only One Member Wears a Cardigan

It's a bit surreal to hear David Letterman say, "Our next guests are a talented band from Brooklyn" while holding up The Pains of Being Pure at Heart's forthcoming album, Belong, but at least he cleared up that they're talented. Thanks, Dave! We weren't sure! (We've been sure for some time now, actually.) Other random notes: Kip and the singer from Beach Fossils could be twin brothers, that looks like a portrait of Panda Bear on their album cover, watching Kip wave and give a thumbs-up to the audience makes my heart melt, this song is so damn good with the dreamy vocals offset by all the gritty guitar work. It seems like they're really going for it with this album, doesn't it?
