Music New Stephen Malkmus & the Jicks Album Coming in the "Not-Too-Far Future"

Out of pretty much nowhere last night, Nils Bernstein from the Matador Records press department, made an awful lot of Pavement/Steve Malkmus fans very happy when he hinted, via Twitter, that there would be a Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks album coming out at some point in the "not-too-far future." There's been reports going back as far as March of 2010 that the band was in the studio recording with Beck, which is of course extremely promising. Last time we heard from them was all the way back in 2008, when they released Real Emotional Trash, an album of which I have literally zero recollection. I'm gonna listen to it now, though.
