Music Howard Stern Talks About The Beets, Thinks "They Mix Their Music Very Unusually"

Like the good Queens boys they are, former L Mag Band You Need to Hear The Beets are apparently big fans of the Howard Stern show, and through some strange turn of events, Stern wound up talking about the band on the air last week. "I like this. It's like a Ramones type of thing," he said. Then, growing more and more confused by the band's decidedly lo-fi aesthetic, he adds, "Is this recording finished?" and "They mix their music very unusually."
